Welcome to Patricia Clarkson Net ~ a fansite for award-winning actress, Patricia Clarkson.
This site has reverted back to a fansite and is no longer official.
Due to an excessive amount of enquiries and requests which needed to go through Patricia's agent or publicist, not via myself and this site - and because as of now there are not enough staff in place to handle it all, any future correspondence will be sent a standard response and not passed on by me.
In the future this may possibly change again but for now, thank you for your understanding and please realise that yes, Patricia is obviously aware of this site, but you should now regard it as just a site run by a fan, and as such it is once more just that, a fansite.
Patti will be in New Orleans for several events, starting with the premiere of Legendary on Sept 8th, followed by some Cairo Time Q&A's, and ending with the yearly benefit for Le Petit Theatre. Links to each event can be found on this page.
The official site for Easy A is now up and running and has a ton of content, with more on the way.
Short video added of Patti sending a message to New Orleans, marking the five years since Hurricane Katrina.
Two photo's added from Legendary. Two articles added; Patti talking about her early career and Cairo Time, and about Easy A, Cairo Time, and the BP oil spill. And a phone interview talking about Cairo Time and more.
Patti will be participanting at the New Yorker Festival this Oct.
Radio interview added; Patti on KCRW's The Treatment, talking about Cairo Time, among many other things.
Four articles/interviews added; mostly about Cairo Time but also covering older roles, and upcoming ones such as Legendary and Easy A.
The Guestbook has a message from tonight at themovies.com which gives the link to a lovely interview with Alexander Siddig. He waxes lyrical about Patti so go and read it!
Patti and Ruba Nadda will be attending a few screenings of Cairo Time at the IFC Center starting from tonight and over the weekend.
Link added to Patti's guest appearance on the Charlie Rose Show (Aug 5th) and added an article; Patti, Alexander and Ruba at a roundtable in NYC.
Added an interview; Patti talking about being in Cairo, etc - and two articles; Patti talking about Cairo Time, the oil spill, and more.
Link added to Patti's guest appearance on The View (July 30th) You can't watch it if you're outside of America, but part of it is also on YouTube; the link to that segment is also included. You can google for ways to watch programmes from other countries, but if you don't want to download any software, I have the entire interview on avi so just mail me!
You may have noticed the site was down and at some point, appeared not to exist anymore! My host, who runs the server herself, had some problems - but thankfully they were resolved fairly quickly.
There are several things to update you on, and I'll get to those soon - but for now, just one update and a very serious one. I've added a link to Patti talking about the oil spill, and the article with it links to the NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) if you want to sign a petition, help out, or donate.
Four photo's added from the New York premiere of Cairo Time.
Patti and Ruba Nadda will be chatting about Cairo Time on blogtalkradio. If you missed it, you can listen anytime! You'll find the link in the multi-media area.
A few more photo's of Patti shooting Friends With Benefits.
The recently mentioned Q&A has been cancelled, though the event is to hopefully be rescheduled. The reason for the cancellation could be due to Patti filming another new movie, if this report is true.
Several high res photo's of Patti shooting Friends With Benefits.
And from no news, to two bits of news. Patti has joined the cast of Friends With Benefits ~ and will be doing a Q&A after a screening of Cairo Time in August, at The Picture House, Pelham, New York.
All quiet with any Patti news right now, but I did find a couple of small photo's of her on stage from The Ride Down Mount Morgan and The Devil’s Disciple on tumblr, along with a few other photo's you might not have seen.
A site is now up for Legendary ~ although so far it only has the trailer and the movie poster/DVD cover up.
Two photo's added from the special screening and after party of The Kids Are Alright.
